Mayor Kim Driscoll while the City of Salem, through its Department of preparing and Community Development, is very happy to announce that the town has closed on that loan through its Small Business Loan Program with The Life that is artful Counseling & Studio.
The $50,000 loan will help The life’s that is artful and move from its present location in Beverly to its brand new location at 142 Canal Street in Salem. It’s going to particularly help with the acquisition of brand new furnishings for extra clinical offices, waiting spaces and studios, art materials, and capital that is working.
The Artful Life, created as a bunch practice in 2016, focuses on the niche industry of expressive arts treatment and provides a substitute for conventional psychological state counseling for people of most ages through the entire North Shore region. Expressive arts treatments are a psychological state career|health that is mental integrating a varied variety of art types, including visual arts, movement, drama, imaginative writing, music, and play in order to help consumers in visualizing thoughts, reduce stress, enhance self-awareness, and enhance social abilities. The City’s Small company Loan program is funded through Salem’s federal Community developing Block give allocation, which supports development that is economic together with development of jobs for low- to moderate-income people. The City has provided over $435,000 to local businesses through this program, resulting in the creation of more than 60 new jobs for low- to moderate-income people over the past decade. The artful Life will be creating at least three, new full-time positions for low- to moderate-income individuals as a condition of its loan funding.
